As I have been collecting interviews and posting them on the web, it has come to my attention that others are being inspired by these testimonies. Such inspiration has come back to me in the form of emails from other women interested in adding their thoughts to this collection. So, I went to my original questionnaire and emailed them an official invite. Many of these "after the fact" contributors are placed right in with the original 7.
If you are interested in giving your thoughts to this collection please feel free to email me. You can use the original Interview Questionnaire as a guideline for some of the issues this site addresses. I and the rest of the industry would love to have your contribution.
One other idea I could use your advice on: Many men within the industry are seriously influenced, inspired and highly supportive of women in the industry. Many of them have approached me to tell me of their wonderful thoughts and feelings. Many of these men are very interested in being interviewed for this collection, and I feel that this would be a splendid idea. I will initially segregate the testimonies of both the men and the women, but I may (as more men contribute) combine the genders together - as it should be.
One last idea. I have had many men and women come to me who are highly motivated in participating in a Mentorship program. They would like to see a program with no age or gender requirements; merely driven by professionalism and enthusiasm. To be a part of this program please send email to: kellie-bea@kellie-bea.com.
