Can I learn about others mentorship experiences?
This year has been ver successful for our Mentors and Mentorees - see some of their shared experiences on the Mentors Care to Share page.
How do I become a mentor?
To be a mentor to an applicant, simply email them directly. There are no other guidelines or qualifications. There are no applications necessary. If you feel you can share your knowledge or point someone in a good direction, that's qualification enough. There are a lot of applicants, and new ones are coming in daily. Many friendships have been made over the course of a year. Its a great feeling knowing that someone else is benefiting from our input, so take the first step, and reach out to someone who can learn from your experiences.
The information you enter will be posted on a publicly displayed database. This database can be seen on the Applicants for Mentorship pages. The desire is to encourage potential mentors to find individuals looking for mentorship that share similar interests and goals.
Mentors, if you find someone to work with or if you have found a Mentor for yourself please notify me, so I can update my files. Also, please email me with your mentorship experiences so that I can post them to encourage others.
